About Rens Admiraal

Rens Admiraal is a freelance software architect / trainer, coach. Around the age of 14 his digital adventures started, and by trying, searching, failing and of course succeeding he's learned several programming languages. Always being eager he accepted new challenges on the run. After working in a wide variety of IT related jobs he finally settled down as a freelancer.

He is an active contributor to TYPO3 products like Flow, Neos and Surf and has a strong focus on quality management & deployment. He's mostly involved in the UI development of Neos. Besides that he works on side projects like semantics in Neos, Surf or localization support for the content repository.

Besides his digital life Rens also has the honor to have a family with 3 sons and a wife. When it happens there's still spare time after family and work he actively competes in (beach)volleyball & sailing contests, and tries to work on pet projects like a computer managed paludarium.
