TYPO3 6.2 comes with the brand new functional testing framework. It's a very important tool for improving quality as it opens a way test and improve complex parts of the system like workspaces or language handling.

In contrast to unit testing functional tests can handle much more complex testing scenarios, including changing database records.

This talk will introduce you to the concept of functional testing. You will also learn how you can utilize it for improving your TYPO3 project.
