Automated deployment is a crucial part of continuous delivery and most agile strategies. While we're getting used to developing applications agile, the hard part is putting them into production. TYPO3 Surf will seamlessly deploy a new release on one or more remote machines. You just need to know PHP for defining the workflows, configure stages and extend Surf with new task implementations. Once the configuration is done, you can simulate or execute a deployment. If something goes wrong, Surf will roll back any actions it executed.
