Organizational culture is a “hot topic” if you are trying to be agile, to be lean, or to improve your agency’s overall quality (Kaizen). In most cases the introduction of Scrum forces software development companies to rethink company culture, as Scrum only works properly in certain environments. But changing a company’s culture is not easy.

The talk will present William Schneider’s Core Culture model and will show how organizational culture might aid or hinder an Agile implementation (like Scrum). Based on practical experience from an ongoing organization-wide change process the talk will give tangible advice about steps to take and experiments to try, once you decided to actively influence and foster your company’s culture.
